WD 500GB USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive for Mac (Black/Silver)
I really love it!! Not only does it feel like I have an endless amount of space, but it was also so easy to set up! Just hook up to your computer and follow the directions. Everything that I was looking for in a Portable Hard Drive!!

Can’t stand the customer service
I currently have two external WD drives for my Mac. The one (My Passport for Mac 500GB) I May bought in 2009 and died in December 2009. This is my first time as a substitute for WD customer service (for) which I am doing rather than simply in-line. I bought WD product is because I prefer California support the local economy (they are in, United State), but their customer service and support has been sourcing in India, which I did not know until today when I called for a replacement. I do not know if the long distance connection is bad or what I can clearly hear on the other hand, the background was very loud, but they can not hear me when I was alone in a quiet room to make the call . I need the serial number to repeat my name and address so many times between Nancy "N" and Michael "M" because they can not get it right. It took me almost 30 minutes on the phone with her and still can not get it properly so I give up and hung up. I will never buy any WD product again if I have to go through this painful process every time I customer service. Cheap labor is not worth it if the quality is not there.

The ideal backup for Mac users
Wow! works perfectly and so very small. Backs up a whole HD using time machine.
