Excellent har ddrive with blazing speed
I built computers as a side-business and I have owned HD’s from all the maor companies. So, I know what a good hard drive has. This one is superb. The speed is astoundidng due to the sata 300 and the 16mb cache, reliability is excelelnt and its whisper silent. Definitely reccomend

Easy Install — Good Upgrade
I replaced my 80GB IDE drive on a Dell 4600 with this drive. It’s made a significant difference in performance.
The directions for install were a bit confusing but once I figured it out the included software installed the drive and copied all of the files from my old drive including the boot record and Windows XP. I then disconnected my old drive and rebooted using the new one.

Amazon sells the Retail Version
The other poster says that this drive for $ 50 and less for the manufacturer, can not but mention that they sell the bare drive (OEM) by Western Digital and Amazon sells the retail version, which is always higher, not included data cable.
