After careful review……

This is my first laptop, and I did my research before I bought it. I read reviews, tested several in stores. Compared specs, and prices. It was difficult to actually finds this computer amongst all the other models and brands floating around. This computer can be built to your liking by Sony. But this computer already has everything you could possibly ask for and more.

It does live up to its entertainment capabilities. It has a blu ray player, and a full HD 16′ screen to watch them on. (I think it’s the perfect size) If you think the screen is too small, or you want to see them on a bigger one in HD it’s easy cause it has an HDMI port on the left side. You can buy 22′ monitor, or just hook it up to your HDTV.

The ATI radeon card is what sold me. I like to use photoshop, and play some of the newer games so the 512 MB of dedicated video memory is great. Not too many laptops come with good video cards, and if they do you are looking at $2000 or more.

As for Vista, I had never used it before, but I heard it had problems, or bugs. I dont know what they were talking about cause my computer has yet to have any problem. Of course I did clean house and uninstall many of the junk programs I never use. I took a while to get everything the way like it, optimized for better performance.

This laptop is on the larger side, and it has it’s ups and downs. I bought mine to use as a desktop computer so I almost never travel with it. Also the screen is a perfect size for me. But on the other hand it is a lil heavy to be carrying around everyday. So that would be the one drawback to this model if you need to transport it everyday, or are searching for something more compact. It is a trade off, you have to decide what is right for you.

This laptop is the no doubt one of the best on the market for its price. It is a performance powerhouse for entertainment, gaming, working, and surfing the web. Loads the most complicated pages in seconds, depending on your connection. . Sony has a great reputation for quality products, and also boasts excellent and reliable customer service.I say buy a great computer every 6-8 years instead of buying a so so computer every 2-4. Go sony and you won’t regret it.
