Velodyne DEQ-15R subwoofer
I purchased this unit for my 25′x25′ greatroom. It sounds every good. A very good woofer. Purchased on Amazon because price was the best and the brand is well know. I made a smart purchase and choice. My 65 plasma Pan looks great and sounds great. I recommend Velodyne to who wants good sounds.

Sounds great, It has more power then I will ever need, I keep it at a 35 to 40 out of a 100 in volume range and still shakes everything.

Holy Cow!
I replaced a twenty year-old Velodyne, then state of the art, with this one. I had little idea that it would make such a huge difference in my movie gazing experience! My old sub would flinch at times and not get the whole pounding sounds needed for the realism of some of the newer soundtracks. This baby shakes the whole g-d room! The neighbors in the houses next door have already “commented’. Not to mention the accuracy of the sound and response. It is likely not the highest quality available in terms of precision or distortion, but I can’t tell, and I’ve listened to a bunch. I have thoroughly enjoyed the way it handles more delicate music and if you like the true sound of cannons going off in the 1812 Overture, I suggest you try this one. I purchased this for 777.00, including tax. It is about 75 lbs. so it’s not easy to move, but who moves their sub around?
