Very Convenient For PC Backup
Pros:
- Quick, easy installation (plug it in)
- Backup software is easy to use
Cons:
- Initial back-up may take hours (but incremental backups afterward are quick enough)
- Indicator light on Western Digital offerings are cooler looking (yes, pretty minor)
Notes:
This is the USB 2.0 version of the product. (There are also versions which include FireWire and Ethernet connections).
I am using Windows XP (Home Version)
I was so happy with this product, that I bought a second one, for off-site backup (I swap the two units every few months).
