Woefully inadequate
I ordered one of these from Amazon.com. Upon checking it out after receipt I found the camera module did not function. It drew the proper amount of current from the power supply (12VDC) but produced no video. OK, just a faulty camera, and could be replaced. I went on to check out the video display using another camera and found it had very poor brightness on both monitors. Using the menu to increase the brightness to full high setting produced no noticeble increase in actual brightness. I tried it out on my rear view mirror and even under low lighting conditions the disply was not bright enough to be usefull. I am returning the unit for refund. If this unit is representative of all units, I wouldn’t waste my time trying another.

Dissapointing unit
I purchased this product as it looked ideal for my jeep. Out of the box the main module on the camera does not work. I hooked it up every way possible using four different cameras and the same issue. The back up side of it is also extremely dim and with any sunlight will not work. They really need to brighten these units as the concept is very good. I will be returning this item and give them the benefit of doubt that it was a defective unit. Once the new unit is here I will further update
