Cuts through aluminum like butter

I bought this circular saw blade for a project that involved aluminum fabrication. I used it with a RIDGID 10″ miter saw to make straight and angle cuts up to 45 degrees. It worked very well, cutting through 1 inch aluminum tubing and 2 inch aluminum angle with no problems what so ever. About every 5th cut, I sprayed a little WD-40 on the blade to keep the aluminum from clumping to the cutting surface. I am not sure that was really necessary but it didn’t hurt either.

The blade made clean professional looking cuts and I recommend it to anyone that is in need of a aluminum cutting circular saw blade.

Usage Review - MK Morse 10″ Aluminum Saw Blade
We have an Aluminum framed (factory pre-fab panel) house that we are remodeling. Being in Hawaii with termites, salt spray ( high rust ) and VOG ( Volcanic H2SO4 fog ) we are attempting to remodel with as little wood and steel studs as possible. Cutting aluminum channel items has been a chore with the Saws-all until we purchased the Morse blade. What can I say. . . it really works. I can’t tell the difference between the factory cut ends of the 20 foot channels we purchase and the cuts I have made, they are all “That clean” when complete. No excessive heating of the material, just a clean cut made on our chop saw. I am very pleased. I did not get this type of cut using a previous “non-ferrous saw blade” ( similar to a plywood fine cut, small 80 tooth finish cut blade ) that frequently clogged and burned/melt through the material no matter how much WD-40 cooling/lube I applied.

I recommend this blade.
