Hey Mountain Bikers!
I purchased these Mechanix gloves for Mountain Biking. The same qualities that make these excellent gloves for mechanics, ie. durability, ventilation, thickness of leather, quality construction, full finger protection, etc… make these an excellent alternative to traditional bike gloves.
Update (2/9/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

Cool and Comfortable
I purchased the gloves to wear as a package handler at FedEx. Although the didn’t last as long as I hoped (4 months), I really liked them. They are lightweight and really well ventilated and very comfortable to wear. My hands stayed cool and were well protected.
