This base is great. There is zero set-up involved, and it was easy enough to get the saw on the base alone. The saw is as stable on the base when the wheels are locked as it was without the base at all, and it rolls with little effort when you’re done. Highly recommended.
Update (2/8/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

It does its job, mostly
This base includes the saw and extension table well. Set up was a breeze. My only complaint is the turning wheel. When locked, it will not roll, but is still to shoot! To review A traveling hip or feed can produce hook a few inches of movement. The brake wheel design of the rollers is good. Remember that the swivel wheel is really safe.

A must have…
A must have for the Delta saw with the 30″ fence. Particularly in a limited space. Out of the box setup, well built. 3 snaps up!
