Good headset, find the foam earpiece
I have been using the hbh-IV835 for over a month. I’m using a sonyericsson w810i with the headset. I read many review of this product prior to making my purchase. I was skeptical that the headset would stay in my ear. The headset uses the same earpieces Sony earbud style headphones use, which I am not a big fan. The rubber earpiece for the hbh-IV835 gave me similar problems as the headphones I use with my w810i for music. They don’t stay in very well. The only reason I decided to buy the headset was because a review I read recommended a company that sold replacement earpieces that also fit the hbh-IV835. So I made both purchases. I am very glad I bought the replacement earpieces. I tried the rubber earpieces that came with the hbh-IV835 and was not happy at all. The headset would not stay in my ear regardless of the size earpiece I used. I tried the rubber replacement earpieces I bought from the other company with little improvement. The replacement earpieces also included a foam set. The foam set works great. I still would not recommend the headset for running. But the headset with foam earpieces stays in my ear well. Occasionally I make adjustments, but for use in the car, at the office or walking around the headset is great. The only other problem I have is using the redial option. The double click works about half the time and when it does the headset uses the same single beep it uses for all other operations to let you know it went through. If you have a Sony phone with the new fast port charger I recommend you get this headset with the foam earpieces.
