when that paper just won’t stick any more……

I’ve done a bit of sanding with my dewalt and after a while the paper just wouldn’t stick as well. Tried blowing the dust off but when I would pick the sander off the piece of wood the paper would decide it had had enough and drop off the pad. Finally came to the realization that the hooks/loops/whatever they are on the pad, had reached the end of their useful life. Not much I can say about the replacement - went on easy, was the right size, etc. However, now my paper stick again - even the Abranet stuff. Ahh, the simple pleasure of life……
