orange or green? What button art thou?
Before you order a replacement remote, make sure to check the back of the garage door motor unit. If you push the learn button, it will lit either green or orange. The remote controls are color specific. I learned the hard away after receiving the remote. The unit came from Sanford and Son Doors. It’s not their fault. Amazon’s product description does mention about the 2 colors but because of my haste to get the product, I did not read it. In Sanford and Son Doors’ web site, they offer free shipping if you order from them. BLNT

Works Perfect
I went to Home Depot to buy a new garage door opener. It was $35.00 and I didn’t even know if it would work. I did not buy it. I came home and ordered this one on line for less than $15.00 and it works perfect. What a great savings.
Thank You

Had a problem with one once
We were provided with two remotes when we got our garage door opener installed. They were both the Liftmaster 971LM Security Plus 1 button remotes. One of those remotes never did work very well. We would have to press the button multiple times to get it to work. We tried replacing the battery but that never helped. Finally I ordered another one of the same model remote from Amazon. It was very easy to program our garage door to accept the new remote. And this remote works great. I don’t know why there was a problem with the original one, or if it is very common to have a problem with this model remote, but we are very happy with the other two.
