Skil 10.8V Drill/Driver
A handy little tool that I keep in one of the kitchen ‘junk’ drawers. It’s good for light jobs when you need to tighten or remove a screw. It’s not made for heavy duty construction type work. I like the built-in LED for illuminating your work. It charges quickly, and a charge seems to last for quite a while, even if you use it only sporadically. It comes in a zippered carry bag with a charger, and bit holder. A nice little tool for the prices.

Short life span
I purchased this drill new at Home Depot and the battery went dead after about 10 months of VERY light use.
The drill had only been used about six or eight times. It was never used for drilling steel etc. (I own a large drill press).
I purchased a bit compatible drill index, since there is no drill chuck.
Mostly used it for wood and sheet rock. Small holes, nothing heavy.
There really isn’t any affordable way to replace the battery.
It’s a throw-away drill. (Was $50 new).
I’ve replaced it with a new Sears 12V Nextec drill, which is working very well so far.
Note:
The drill isn’t hard to take apart, so I opened it and tested each cell in the pack. One was still functional, the other 2 were dead.
