Good sink mat
This is one of the few sink mats I would recommend. No only does it not rust terribly, but it’s one of the most convenient to use. In the past, the wire racks have rusted after about 3-4 months and I’ve had to buy new ones … not this one! It still is going after much longer, and very little rust. Because of the inhibitors built into the coating on the wires, the rust simply wipes off (if there is any). The hinged middle is a great idea (you don’t have to remove the whole thing to get something down the disposal — just the hinged side). It also helps keep the sink much cleaner than traditional plastic mats … no more “yuck” under the mat!
I recommend this item to anyone who needs a good sink protector.

Very happy with this.
This sink protector is working out very well. The one I had before was a rubber type and was always getting
slimy and moldy on the underside. Much prefer this type.

rubbermaid sink protector
Love this sink protector and it works terrific since my drain is offset. The only problem is that eventually rusts so don’t leave any dirty dishes setting on it because that contributes to the problem. The first one I had for about 1.5 years before I trashed it because of the rust. Everything else still functioned perfectly.
